Sparkling Punch (Delma Gomes)
2 bot Asti Spumanti well chilled
4 oz castor sugar
Strawberries

1 bot Sauterne chilled
Large can pineapple juice

1 cup brandy
Mint leaves

  1. Pour one well-chilled bottle each of Asti Spumanti and Sauterne into a large bowl.
  2. Add the sugar, mint leaves and pineapple juice and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the brandy.
  4. Just before serving, add the remaining well chilled Asti Spumanti.
  5. Decorate with a few sliced strawberries.
