Plain Sponge Cake (Delma Gomes)
4 eggs
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp flour
  1. Beat the eggs and sugar until double, light and fluffy.
  2. Fold in the flour and bake.
Plain Sponge - Very good (Delma Gomes)
3 eggs
3 tbsp water

6 oz flour
8 oz sugar
  1. Melt the sugar in the water and then cool.
  2. Beat the eggs in the cool syrup until light and fluffy.
  3. Fold in the flour and bake.
