Jamoon Wine (Maria Teresa Faria de Freitas)
Small basketful of jamoons
½ lb sugar
6 cloves
1 piece of spice
A little water
¼ bottle of high wine

  1. Crush the jamoons.
  2. Add the other ingredients.
  3. Let sit for 5 days then strain through muslin.
  4. Throw back in jar, add a little more sugar and a ¼ bottle of high wine.
  5. Let stand for 2 weeks and then bottle.
