French Toast [4] (Delma Gomes) | ||
8 slices bread ½” thick ¼ tsp salt | 2 eggs 2/3 cup milk | |
1. Beat the eggs slightly and add the milk and salt. 2. Dip bread into the egg mixture. 3. Fry in a small amount of hot fat on both sides until brown. 4. Serve hot with jelly or sprinkled with powdered sugar. |
