Tomato Soup “Hungarian Chicken” (Delma Gomes)
4 chicken joints
1 level tsp paprika
1 pint water

1 tbsp corn oil
2 medium carrots sliced

1 large onion chopped
1 pkt tomato soup

  1. Heat the corn oil in a flame-proof casserole.
  2. Brown the chicken joints with paprika.
  3. Add the onions, carrots and tomato soup mix.
  4. Stir in the water and bring to the boil while continuing to stir.
  5. Cover and cook 325F/162C - gas mark 3 – for 1 hour.
