Smoked Salmon And Cream Cheese Spirals (Fay Anne de Freitas)
4 10 oz flour Tortillas
1 cup herbed light cream cheese
8 oz cream cheese
Chopped green onions

10 oz plain smoked salmon – thinly sliced
1 cup lightly packed watercress or cilantro leaves
1 to 1 ½ tsp dried parsley or dill
1 clove of garlic - minced

  1. Spread each tortilla with the herbed cream cheese.
  2. Arrange salmon in a single layer over the cheese, leaving a 1” empty border around the tortilla to help with rolling.
  3. Roll up the tortilla – jelly roll fashion. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least one and up to six hours before serving.
  5. To serve, cut each roll on the diagonal. Discard or eat the ends.
