Pudim Gelado - Frozen Pudding (Maria Teresa Faria de Freitas) | ||
Ingredients: 3 lb of sugar ¼ lb of butter | 1 cinnamon stick 1 lemon or orange peal | 10 egg yolks ¼ spoonful of English yeast |
Preparation: Heat the sugar so that it thickens. Remove it from the burner and add the butter, the cinnamon, the lemon peel. Leave to cool and then add the egg yolks (these need to be very well beaten). Bake in the oven in a buttered vessel. | ||
