Ponche de Creme (Fay Anne de Freitas)
5 tins condensed milk
2 tins evaporated milk
12 eggs
1 bottle rum

½ bottle brandy
Grated nutmeg
Bitters
Lime peel


  1. Beat eggs with a piece of lime peel. Add milk and continue to beat.
  2. Add rum and a few dashes of bitters. Mix well and then remove the lime peel.
  3. Add the grated nutmeg and stir. Allow to settle. Pour into bottles and refrigerate.
  4. Serve over crushed ice with further grated nutmeg on top.
