Ice Cream (Delma Gomes)
6 tins evaporated milk
6 tins of water

3 tins condensed milk
2 tbsp custard powder
4 eggs
Sugar to taste
  1. Mix the ingredients and pour into icebox pans.
  2. Freeze.

Ice Cream (Gene Watkinson)
1 tin condensed milk
2 tins evaporated milk
Pinch of salt
  1. Mix the condensed and evaporated milk together and freeze.
  2. When frozen, beat and mix in the pinch of salt.
  3. Refreeze.

Ice Cream (Gene Watkinson)
2 tins evaporated milk
1 egg (optional)

1 ½ tins water
½ tbsp custard powder
1 tin condensed milk
Sugar to taste
  1. Combine the ingredients into an ovenproof bowl and cook until the mixture will coat the back of a spoon.
  2. Cool, freeze, then beat and refreeze.
Ice Cream - Nice (Gene Watkinson from Joan Peters)
6 eggs separated

9 or 10 oz icing sugar
12 fl. oz cream
  1. Beat the egg whites, gradually add the sugar, and then fold in the lightly beaten egg yolks.
  2. Whip the cream to soft peaks, adding any flavouring essence, and then fold into the egg white mixture.
  3. Freeze
