French Asparagus Dip (Gene Watkinson)
8 oz cream cheese
15 oz cans green asparagus tips
2 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper

½ cup sour cream
2 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp chopped parsley

¼ cup mayonnaise
½ pack French onion soup mix
1 tsp prepared mustard
  1. Beat the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Drain the asparagus, keeping a ¼ cup of the asparagus liquid.
  3. Chop the asparagus and add it and the kept asparagus liquid to the cheese mix.
  4. Stir in the other ingredients seasoning to taste.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
