Cream Coffee Filling (Delma Gomes)
2 level dsp corn flour
¼ pint milk

1 tsp Nescafe
1 ½ oz margarine

1 tbsp hot water
1 oz castor sugar
  1. Dissolve the coffee in the water.
  2. Blend the corn flour with a little of the cold milk.
  3. Warm the rest of the milk with the coffee.
  4. Stir into the corn flour and return to the heat, stirring until well-cooked and thick.
  5. Put aside to cool.
  6. Cream the margarine and sugar together in a bowl and then gradually add the cool corn flour mix and heat until it reaches a consistency of thick whipped cream.
