Cocktail Meatballs in Cranberry (Fay Anne de Freitas)
1 lb lean ground beef
2 tbsp water
1 egg

½ cup breadcrumbs
3 tbsp minced onion
8 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
¾ cup chili sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F
  2. Mix together the ground beef, egg, water, breadcrumbs and minced onion until evenly distributed.
  3. Roll into small meatballs.
  4. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes turning once.
  5. In a slow cooker, blend the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and lime juice.
  6. Add the meatballs and simmer for one hour before serving.
